COLUMBUS, OH- This past week, December 7-10, the Baylor Swim Club competed in the 2016 USA Swimming Speedo Winter Junior Championships- EAST at the McCorkle Aquatics Pavilion on the campus of the Ohio State University. This is one of the the top swimming competitions in the country on an annual basis for swimmers eighteen years old and under. There were over 800 swimmers in the meet representing over 150 clubs from all over the eastern half of the country. The Baylor Swim Club ended up finishing 8th in the boys overall team standings.

The Baylor School is the only high school in the country to have such a club! Freeman also set new Southeastern Swimming 15-16 LSC records in the 200, 500, and 1650 yard freestyle.

The Baylor Swim Club 4x50 yard freestyle relay of Trey Freeman, Jack Best, Gershwin Greene, and Peter Lochmaier swam to a third place finish in the event.
