LOUISVILLE, KY- In February Baylor School and Baylor Swim Club athlete Trey Freeman was one of 66 athletes from across the country to attend USA Swimming’s National Junior Team Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. While at the camp, Freeman was selected by his teammates as a captain of the National Junior Team Camp, and he will also attend the Southern Zone Select Camp in Louisville, KY from May 25-28 as a mentor to those athletes participating. As a mentor for the camp, Freeman will talk about his experience as a Junior National Team athlete and discuss with the athletes what it takes to make it to that level. USA Swimming selects 28 male and 28 female athletes from each of the four Zones. The girls must be age 12-13 at the time of performance, and the boys must be age 13-14 at the time of performance.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for Trey, and he will do a great job as a mentor, leader, and friend for the athletes at the camp," said Head Coach Dan Flack.
