Freeman & Coach Flack to Represent Team USA at FINA World Juniors

CHATTANOOGA, TN- On Tuesday, July 11th USA Swimming released the complete rosters for the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships to be held August 23-28, 2017 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, IN. Baylor School / Baylor Swim Club athlete Trey Freeman earned his space on the FINA World Junior Team with his performance at the Phillips 66 National Championships at the end of June. Freeman claimed USA Swimming 18 & Under National Championships in both the 200 and 400 meter freestyle events. He has now qualified to swim the 200, 400 free, and 4x200 meter freestyle relay for Team USA at the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships.

Due to Freeman's performance at the National Championships, Head Coach Dan Flack was also selected to represent Team USA as a member of their coaching staff. In 2011 Coach Flack was a also a member of Team USA's coaching staff at the FINA World Junior Championships in Lima, Peru. Baylor alumni Kristen Vredeveld took gold in 2011 at the FINA World Junior Championships as a member of Team USA's 4x100 meter free relay.
