Baylor Swimmers Rock at 2017 CARIFTA Championships

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Baylor School / Baylor Swim Club athletes, Hannah Gill, Jack Kirby, and Luis Sebastian Weekes of Barbados and Angara Sinclair of Jamaica put on a great performances for their home countries at the 2017 CARIFTA Swimming Championships held in the Bahamas.

Hannah Gill was Golden as she won the 800 meter freestyle, won silver in the 400 meter freestyle and won bronze in the 200 meter freestyle. All of her swims were new personal best times.

Jack Kirby won Silver in the 50, 100 & 200 meter backstrokes He took Bronze in the 200 IM, as well as placing 4th in the 100 freestyle with a huge time drop. All of Jack’s times were life time best swims!

Luis Sebastian Weekes won Silver in the 200 fly, 200 IM & 400 IM, and won Bronze in the 200 breaststroke. All of Luis times were personal best swims!

Angara Sinclair won Gold for Jamaica in the 400 medley relay and the 200 & 800 freestyle relays. She also had an enormous time drop to final in the 100 meter butterfly.
