Althoff & Freeman Earn Scholastic All-American Honors

CHATTANOOGA, TN- USA Swimming released the roster for its 2016-2017 Scholastic All-America Team, and two Baylor Swim Club / Baylor School student athletes were selected for this honor.

Making the Scholastic All–America team from Baylor are Zach Althoff and Trey Freeman.

The Scholastic All-America Team recognizes USA Swimming members who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single even. To be eligible for this recognition, swimmers must have completed 10th, 11th or 12th grade and must be a USA Swimming member athlete.

“We are thrilled to once again have several members of our team be selected as Scholastic All Americans” said Baylor Head Coach Dan Flack. “We have established a tradition with the Baylor swimming program of national excellence both in the water and in the classroom, and these fine student – athletes have now added to that tradition.”
